Assignments assignments and endless assignments.
This semester alone there are seven essays for me. Four 2500-word and three 3000-word essays.
It seems easy but the amount of journal readings and research is really tiresome. I have read at least 25 journals now... I have submitted one essay, completed 3 reports, one in progress and two more still in the queue. Hopefully will get the current one done ASAP.
Rosslyn Chapel
The lies of the Da Vinci Code were unleashed. Rosslyn does not originate from the Rose Line. It simply means "rocky waterfall" in Gaelic. It is such a magnificent chapel. All the carvings were done with such great details. And all of them are significantly different from one another. Well, one has to see the place for oneself to truly appreciate such architecture. It is a pity though coz we were not allowed to snap pictures in the chapel itself.
Guy Fawkes Night
I now know the meaning of the movie V for Vendetta. I used to think it was such a crap movie as I don't quite understand what November 5th commemorates. Remember remember November the 5th!
Went to the Calton Hill with the girls with the mission to be enthralled with the explosive fireworks. However, the night was just too gloomy and foggy. We could see a few here and there but it wasn't as what we have expected. Oh wells, too high an expectation does lead to disappointment. We had fun listening though =p and amused ourselves with our silly antics.
High School Musical III
Admit I'm a lil too old for this crap. But curiosity kills you know. Wanted to know how the movie ended for this batch of seniors. So i went to watch with 3 other friends who were bold enough to admit they love HSM too!! It was alright =p
Bosiung and friend's one day visit.
Met Bosiung and his friend, Soon, who are currently also on exchange in Stockholm. They flew to Edinburgh last Friday and we went for a stroll around Edinburgh. So as a host, I felt like I should bring them to all my favourite spots here. Met them at the National Gallery and on the way to Pollock we went sight seeing around Royal Mile, the Meadows and I felt obliged to bring them to my campus. Then we hiked up Arthur's Seat, my third time now. Such a windy day!! We could almost feel ourselves flying off the cliff.
Upon sunset we were already at Portobello, a beach 20 minutes off the city. It was then dinner time. Bought our meals from Burger King and embarked on our way up the Calton Hill. It was just simply awesome having our dinner with the Edinburgh city below our feet. Well not exactly, the hill overlooks the entire city and it was soooo beautiful. I can never get enough of the city. Since there wasn't much to do after dinner, we went to the Ocean Terminal which is a shopping mall near Leith.
Fire Alarm, the weekly affair
Happening at least once a week now. Last week it was at 4am, this morning alone at 2am. Freaking cold outside and we had to wait for about half an hour for the personnels to sort things out. As usual, just a false alarm... Freaking drunkards!!! So what if the beer is cheap? Be responsible for your actions!!!
Well, to all my friends in NUS,
